It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved athletic director, Mike Atwood. Mike was a fierce supporter of athletics and a friend to all. Mike taught early in his career at North Newton before going on to coach and teach math and coach in the Delphi School Corporation. Not only was he an accomplished coach in Indiana Athletics, but he was a kind man who was blessed with many close friends and family members. His viewing will take place this Thursday, November 4th from 5:00pm EST to 8:00pm EST at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette, IN with a funeral service taking place on Friday, November 5th starting at 11:00am EST at the funeral home. We wish his closest friends and family our deepest condolences. Mike Atwood helped to make our school district better and will be deeply missed.
