Welcome to Lake Village Elementary School where it’s great to be a Tiger!
As one of the elementary schools at North Newton School Corporation, we strive to engage, educate, and empower our students and school family for an ever changing world.
At Lake Village we value engaging through relationships and connecting with our students, families, and community. We know it truly takes a village to work together and be better and stronger. You’ll notice this as soon as you walk in the building and are greeted by our amazing staff and polite students.
Our teachers work together in professional development to continue learning and being the best educators they can be. The students are learning and growing everyday from these experts and engaging practices. We value attendance and being present at school to achieve that academic success.
Lake Village knows that every child can succeed and grow, and each child gets there differently. We offer a variety of educational experiences for our students. There are supports in Title I reading, Response to Intervention (RTI), high ability instruction, and social-emotional support through Second Steps along with the small group attention teachers give students on a daily basis.
Students are empowered to be active in their interests. Lake Village has active clubs such as Student Council, Spell Bowl, M.A.T.H Bowl, Science Bowl, Art, Band, Choir, and Robotics Club for our upper elementary students. Fifth and sixth grade students can participate in volleyball and basketball that compete with our other two elementary schools.
Parents are encouraged to engage and communicate with their teachers and our school. We have an amazing PTO that offers a variety of family events and student incentives or materials for the school. We host semester awards and holiday parties along with other events for families to connect to our school.
Lake Village is a great place to be, and I would encourage you to get involved and check it out! It is my great pleasure to come to school each day and be a part of this amazing community.
Happy learning and growing!
